"Spring is in the air..."

Dear Friends,

To paraphrase Tennyson, Spring is in the air and we all know that means that a young person's thoughts turn to love, so I thought it fitting to write this month's newsletter about the grand celebration of love. . .The Wedding!

This month I've compiled a list of interesting wedding statistics and factoids.

Did You Know?

In English tradition, Wednesday is the best day to marry, but Monday is for wealth and Tuesday is for health. Saturday is the most popular day for weddings even though it's the unluckiest day according to English folklore! According to Hindu tradition, rain on your wedding day is good luck.

Have you ever wondered why the groom carries the bride across the threshold? It's to protect her from evil spirits that lurk below
