Since last month was dedicated to the graduates I thought that this would be a good month to dedicate the newsletter to the next step in a graduates life…getting a job!
Here are some tips for all of you fine young people who are busy looking for work (and you fine older people as well).
It has been said to me that; "experience is NOT the best teacher because the tuition is too high." The best way to learn is from other people's mistakes so with that in mind here are a few things that you should avoid doing while on your search for employment!
I'll start with the first stage in the process - "The Resume"

(All of these are real life examples)
"My intensity and focus are at inordinately high levels, and my ability to complete projects on time is unspeakable."
"Education: Curses in liberal arts, curses in computer science, curses in accounting."
"Exposure to German for two years, but many words are not appropriate for business."
"Personal interests: Donating blood. 15 gallons so far."

"I have become completely paranoid, trusting completely nothing and absolutely no one."
"References: None, I've left a path of destruction behind me."
"My goal is to be a meteorologist. But since I possess no training in meteorology, I suppose I should try stock brokerage."
