Stephanie has been involved with some form of the consumer products business for 25+ years. She understands brand marketing, sales analysis, and distribution channels. She conceived of The Cookie Company, Inc in 1997 and now is expanding the business from manufacturing custom designed marketing cookies to also producing a much needed delicious sugar free cookie line.
Experience/Credentials
Stephanie grew up in a Marine military family, graduated from Hollins College in Roanoke Virgina with a BA in economics. She started her career in retail buying with Federated Department stores in Atlanta Ga., ans soon moved to Coca Cola USA - Fountain division in Texas. After ten years with Coca-Cola USA she moved on to AC Nielsen. While there she worked with consumer product companies such as Dr Pepper/Seven up and Tyson Foods. Her last corporate job was with Price Waterhouse's Management Horizon division which deals with retailers and information on trends and services. She left Price Waterhouse and started The Cookie Company in 1997.

- Every night make a list of what must be done the next day. Once those items are accomplished you can work in extras that arise during the day.
- If you have a branded product - protect it.
- If you have employees - let them know they are an integral part of your business
- Make sure you can provide what you say you can, over promising and under delivering will sink any venture.
- Have structure where needed, it gives employees confidence.
